So low beams work but high beams don't after installing a stereo? If you disconnect the stereo does the issue go away? If so wired incorrectly. Also check fuse and relay after wiring correctly

The main one I believe you are looking for is in the fuse panel inside the vehicle (there are 2 inside but in the picture I marked the panel you need to find. The other picture is a diagram of the fuse layout and I marked the fuse you need to check. It will either be labeled on the cover a "CIG" or 14. If your power outlet (cig lighter) is working then the fuse isn't your problem because they are on the same circuit. Hope this helps.....

How do i know i need a whole new fuse box

You don't mention the year, make and model of the vehicle so, my answer will be as vague as your question.
A gasoline engine needs four things to run: fuel, spark, compression and combustion.
When you turn the key does the starter engage? If no, check for power at both sides of the fuse when turning the key.. If there is no power at the fuse when turning the key, go to the ignition switch. You have isolated your problem.
If there is power at fuse then, go to the starter relay. If there is power going into and, going out of the relay then, check the starter. You have isolated your problem.
If yes, check for fuel, spark (plugs and wires), compression(block, pistons, rods, Intake and gaskets) and combustion (small scale explosion from compressed fuel and spark, thus pushing piston).

Your problem may be with a passive anti-theft system installed by the manufacturer. I wouldn't know because you didn't mention the year, make and model of the vehicle.
Your problem could be with a collision based fuel shut down system installed by the manufacturer but, I wouldn't know because you didn't mention the year, make and model of the vehicle.
Your problem could be with any number of common issues related to a specific vehicle; issues that may been discussed at length on this very site but, I wouldn't know because you didn't mention the year, make and model of the vehicle.

could be the fuses, did you check the fuses or the blubs can be blown, did a wire hit some metal by accident. if so then that is what is wrong. but check fuse first, then blubs

My 93 camaro z28, stereo wiring is all jacked up.i dont have 12v for my memory.the factory wire harness is cut off how do i wire it to my aftermarket stereo

Use A test Light to Locate KEY OFF Power for Memoey, And the Same for KEY ON POWER For Radio Power Lead. there ARE EXTRA of Both @ Fuse BOX. Speakers are Colored Alike In Pairs Of 2 Look for 4 Pair for 4 Channel Set up. OR REWIRE SPEAKERS all together as this is the Most Effective Way to Wire Speakers Anyway. I Hope this Sheds Some Light on your Problem and Helps you Wire it Correctly Feel FREE to REPLY With ANY QUESTIONS.
