Hi,

Many times a freezer and/or refrigerator do not work right because of a dirty condenser coil...there are also many other things that can go wrong.

If you are hearing a clicking or buzzing then check out the last two tips.

My experience if I understand when you say "Leaking" Is that into the inside bottom of fridge?>
If so on auto-defrost(frostfree) frdge. the tube in back outside &attached to the freezer is cloged and wont allow condensation to disperse into the pan below therefor it leakes to the inside instead. Try unclogging by pouring Verry Hot water into back of freezer{inside}.

Whirlpool Gold fridge not working at all even at maximum coldness adjustment, while freezer is fine. Red light on, indicating bad filter, but frdge not connected to water supply, so changing that wont fix...

Water buildup inside of refrigerator

It may be the fact that your evaporater pan is not working. The freezer and fridge have drains inside them. The water inside and condensation go down tube that you see on backside of your fridge. This tube goes into a drainpan in the bottom and than evaporates.
You should also check to make sure your fridge and freezer are cold enough.

Look to the freezer for your problem. If you have frost buildup on the back wall inside the freezer section your defrost system is not working.

I have a similar top freezer and during the summer
I have had a problem where the frdge part does not get cold. The two holes coming from the bottom of the freezer to the fridge are blocked
with ice. I took the back part off the freezer
got rid of a clump of ice. I also used a hair dryer
in the fridge section to melt the ice in the holes.
