Compatible Remote Control?

Hello.

I have a Kenwood KDV-C810 (10-disc DVD changer) in my vehicle. In a rush moving out to Iraq, I left the batteries in the remote, and now (22 months later) its useless.

The identical replacement is Kenwood Part Number: A70-2038-08, and goes for about $92...however, Im just looking to turn the unit on, and flip thru discs (ffwd/rev)...so basic functionality will work for me.

Id like to know if you all think the Kenwood KCA-R6A Card-Style 10-Key Remote will meet my basic needs, or your recommendations.
