My 1988 yamaha yz80 clutch pin isnt hitting the clutch plate as much as i think it should be. what do i do?

There is a "C" clip with a stem at a right angle as a part of the clip. This is a part of the kick starter mechanics. Replace the clip. It is about one inch in diameter.

Where it is leaking is most likely the problem.
try bleeding it and see if you get any pressure at the slave.
