How do I get military time off my Armitron 45/7040? I can't find the answer anywhere

https://www.google.com suggests several web sites with suggestions.

http://tv.manualsonline.com/support/armitron/watch/i-cannot-get-my-watch-off-military-time-5752670

Quoting: "David posted an answer 3 years ago
Press the MODE button (B) three times to enter the time setting mode. Press the RESET button (A) to tab through seconds, minutes, hour. The ST/STP button (C) scrolls through the number choices. When selecting the hour, if you want 12hr time format make sure the AM or PM is displayed next to the number you deszire. There are 48 possible selections for the hour - 12 for AM, 12 for PM, and 24 for military time. Keep cycling through until the correct hour comes around. Once you have the correct choice, press the MODE button once more to exit time setting mode."

Why would our Lowry TV take numerous attempts to turn on?

Check and replace damaged component/s at its main power regulator [SMPS] section circuit. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts.
http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/
It will be best to replace the power supply regulator board as card basis rather than making "Surgery" to it; which usually will make loss for both money and time. Even though you can make it right, it will cost around an amount equal to the cost of a new board; including the cost of (spare parts + service charge) More to say, most of the spare parts to it will be difficult to get from open electronic spare part market. This is true to most of the flat panel TV power supply boards; irrespective of its brand and screen size.

How do I set my pod 535 watch after I have changed the batteries

Just tried this procedure to replace a watch battery in a POD 535 and did not work...my version of the watch might be different, all I am saying is it did not work with my watch.
The procedure that worked with my watch
When you have replaced the battery reset the watch by placing a small screw driver across the two recessed contact next to the lower battery clip. The digital display will reset and you will see four zero's flashing...if not press the winder button once, or reset the watch again. This process is to get all the hands at twelve O clock position...press and hold the top right hand button and the hands will start revolving...you can let go of the button once the hand are moving. Pressing the top button again will stop the hands and a short press will move the hands in small increments. Once the hands get close to 12 press then press the button once and then press the same button in short pulses to align all the hands on the 12 position. Wait a short time and the watch will find the time signal and both the digital display and hands will be aligned and showing the correct time.

I am needing to find out what kind or size battery The Fossil Blue AM-3574 takes and where I can purchase them.

The vast majority of Fossil analog wristwatches take either a #377 or #379 watch battery. The #379, being slightly smaller, is somewhat more commonly found in women's watches than in men's watches, but I have seen both types used in men's and women's watches alike.
These batteries are commonly found at many drug stores, jewelry store counters at places like Walmart and Target, and even at some dollar stores. Be aware that cheap dollar store batteries are usually alkaline, not silver oxide, versions of the same size battery. Alkaline batteries may work perfectly well in many watches, but they have a somewhat different energy performance curve over time, and, in general, they won't last quite as long as a comparable silver oxide battery. In addition, for reasons I've never been able to figure out, some of the Fossil watches that I've serviced would not function with an alkaline battery--but would work fine when I put in a silver oxide battery of the same size and voltage. I have not been able to see a pattern to predict when this will and will not occur.
As a final thought, the backs of some Fossil watches are very snugly fitted to their cases. You can generally get them off without too much of a problem, but there's a good chance you may need a jeweler's press to get them to snap back on properly. I've noticed this most with round watch backs; I generally haven't needed a press to close oblong or tonneau-shaped Fossil watches (or some round watches, too). A jeweler's press spreads the pressure evenly around the edges of the watch back and watch case, preventing damaging pressure on the watch crystal, watch movement, and watch back. Clamping the watch in a regular vise to try to press on the back runs a high risk of damaging your watch, and I do not recommend trying that, no matter how frustrated you get. It's much safer (and cheaper, overall) to tip someone with a vise a couple of dollars to close up your watch for you.

I have a Daenyx TV- model DN402, bought it in April of 2008. All of a sudden the TV Is having issues with powering up. The green button responds to the remote and TV button only flashes green which is...

If you are pressing the power on button on the remote, you might want to try replacing the batteries, and make sure the contacts in the remote are clean and not corroded. With some remote controls a clear line of site is needed from remote to TV sensor. You might try moving closer to the TV to eliminate the possibility of an obstructed line of site. If the remote sensor is optical there may be dust covering the sensor and diminishing the signal. clean it with a soft cloth and maybe dampen with windex.

When I press light buttopn in the middle the display goes blank

This sounds like a simple battery replacement. Depending on how low the battery is usually pressing the light button and the display goes dim or blank is a good indicator of this. Takes a CR1616 battery and be careful of the spring inside and make sure the seal is in the correct position. You will need to touch the AC button and the back of the battery with a pair tweezers for a couple of seconds to reset the watch. Put the case back on and set the watch thru the functions.

No sound

Make sure the sound is turned on the unit. Press and hold the lower left button for a few seconds and you should see a little Sirus like pic on your watch. If you have that and no sound then you have a problem. Maybe try taking the battery out and reinstalling after a few minutes. If nothing works then your choice would be to send the watch to get repaired or live with it. The heart rate does flash if you are under or over your target rates. Good luck
