Sorry not familiar with this camera, but the error problem you are describing is generally caused by the memory card being full. Well at least it is for me and the cameras i have used. Hope this helps. Also note that sometimes the memory card will not be in the camera just right so it uses the internal memory and this is usually the one that fills up first.Which will cause your error, suggest that you format the memory card and try again.
1) Turn OFF the camera.
2) Remove the memory card from your camera.
3) Reinsert the memory card, then push down on the card until you hear a click. check the memory card is firmly fitted in your camera.
4) Turn ON your camera.
This will clear your error.
Have a nice day

Here are the steps for the no power problem: 1. Make sure you will install a new or fully charged battery/batteries into your camera. Please use lithium batteries Ni-Mh or rechargeable Batteries (2000 M.Amp or higher). 2. Clean the battery contacts. a. Remove the battery/batteries and the memory card from your camera, then wipe the battery contacts with a soft, clean cloth. b. Reinstall the battery/batteries into your camera 3. Turn on your camera without the memory card. (If it works then it?s your memory card that is faulty)
I will give you the steps that you can isolate whether memory card or the reader has malfunction. check the memory card with external card reader by connecting to computer if card really bad it will alert either error or unformatted (make sure write protection of the card is off if exist). When you format in computer successfully it can work in camera too. If issue persist in camera side you can try another card and next step will be hardware repair of camera reader. hope it will help. Good Luck
It could be a faulty memory card. Or maybe dirty contacts on the card itself. Try swapping cards with a friend or your local camera shop and see if it works then. Maked sure the card is correctly inserted too.
If the card formatted in the camera it should be OK. If it was corrupt it would show up during format.
I hope you didn't buy the card off Ebay through an Asian or Chinese dealer. They are conning people with half a gbyte card marked as one gbyte. Some of them are reworked so they show the full Gbyte but when you go to format them they crash when you try to use them.
Anyway it should be under warranty so ask for an exchange or even a different brand.
