I need help loading film on to a Canon AZ-2900R Automatic

It is not possible for me to find a manual, but the camera looks like my my EOS5oo (film camera, not the digital one)
I still have some film camera's from Canon and the way to put in the film is the same in almost every one, so I give it a try. Make sure you have the correct batteries in the camera. You can check by turning the mode dial to any position other than L and look on the display. If the battery symbol is flashing, it is too low. Turn the mode dial to the L. Open the camera, then put the roll in the left hand space and while holding the spool in place pull out enough film (one to 2 inch) to reach the orange point on the right hand side. Then close the camera.
If you pulled out more film, please put it back in the spool by turning the knob.
As soon as the camera is closed it will spool the film to the starting point. A little spool symbol and the ISO will be visible on the display. When the spool is blinking something went wrong and you have to insert again.
I'm not sure if your camera detects the correct ISO, but if not you have to correct that your self. I don't know how to do that.
I think there is a category for analog cameras too. This one was in digital cameras. Success

Very dark pictures

hi melissa,
your problem is the focusing areas, im sorry that I do not know how to turn it off, the rectangle you see is the area is focusing on, and the darkness is what the camera doesnt focus on, try reading the manual, or turning it off yourself.

Im the one with the Maxxum 3xi iso problem ... Our teacher gave us film with 400iso but we have to change the iso to 100 to shoot the roll..

If you use DX-coded film between 25-5000, the camera sets the ISO automatically to match the film. If you use non-DX-coded film, the ISO is automatically set to 100 ISO.

I cannot find where the memory card or film goes in this camera.

Your camera takes APS film. It's an obsolete system these days but the film and processing are still fairly easy to get.

The film loads into a compartment on the bottom of the camera; you open the compartment by turning the latch on the right hand end of the camera (as viewed from behind). The battery fits into a small compartment on the lower left back of the camera.

WHICH LENS WILL GIVE THE SAME RESULT OF 50 MM LENS IN FILM MODEL

To figure the equivalent coverage comparable to a film camera, multiply the number of mm by 1.5. Example: a 50mm lens will be like a 75mm lens on a digital camera.

Canon elph z3

Hey richnpoor,
I don't know of any hookup ports on this camera. This camera is a APS film camera, and the only covers on the camera are the lens cover, the battery cover, and the cartridge compartment cover. I assume you are not talking about the lens cover. To access the battery cover you should be able to just put you thumb on the cover and slide it off the body. To access the cartridge compartment cover you have to first press the release button on the bottom of the camera.

Sincerely,
Allan
