Screen is blue

Good Day, o_fraile;
Blue screen normally means your TV is not receiving a signal.
1. Reset TV by unplugging TV's A/C cord from source for 3 to 5 minutes...... plug back in
2. Do the same to "BOX" ( cable, sat & etc)
3. Make sure input is the correct, all inputs, turn DVD and others on and go through inputs.
Good Luck, big IRISH.

Mitsubishi TV

Good Day, Ritz1234;

Okay, you made sure lamp was seated properly. GOOD!!Now the hard part but the "fix'. On the TV's power supply you will need to change some cap's. But to verify this remove the panel in front, just to right of the lamp panel. Now look closely... reset unit, look, and turn power on, into second panel's opening... if you see the lamp come on for 5 to 10 seconds. Then lamp goes out, then power supply caps need to be replaced.

The power board is on the left hand side of the TV (from the back), power board is in the very back of that left hand ***'y. To repair the supply you will need 4- 1,000ufd 35v, 2- 3300 ufd 35v and 2- 2200ufd 35v caps on that board. They are the only ones on the board, with replacement in hand it will easy to identify parts to replace.

Good luck, if any concerns let me know, good luck, big IRISH.

My misubishi

Good day, fidel509; This model is equipped with a self-diagnosis feature to help with diagnosis of shutdown problems. To activate this turn the unit on let it shutdown then press the device and menu buttons on the front panel simultaneously and hold them in for 5 seconds after 5 seconds the power LED on the front panel will blink a two digit sequence. This will be one set of blinks a short pause then another set of blinks, this will repeat 5 times. 1 - 2 = no error detected 2 - 1 = X-ray protect (high voltage or beam current) 2 - 2 = Short protect (short protect monitors low voltage supplies) 2 - 3 = Deflection protect (this could be loss of vertical or horizontal deflection) 2 - 4 = Vertical protect (usually loss of vertical from the source) Good luck, I hope this will get you started in the right direction, big IRISH.

Audio problems

Good Day, corilyn;
Several things that you may try:
1. Unplug TV and Cable/Sat box for 3-4 minutes, plug all back in, that's resetting the devices.
2. Some boxes have volume controls, make sure 'box' volume are turned to max.
3. Go into TV's customer menu, go to audio section, make sure speakers are turned on/ set to internal speakers.

Good Luck, Big Irish.

TV Troubleshooting

Good Day Joseamunoz2;
It sounds like the convergence circuit has failed, but it does not normally cause the TV not to turn on. Until you get a signal (cable) back on, double check your concerns.
Good Luck, big IRISH.
