Press the button down further. The shutter release button on these types of cameras has two modes, half way down causes the camera to autofocus, all the way down causes it to shoot. If the camera is in autofocus mode, it will not fire until it feels that is focused.

When I zoom in to take a picture I get it focused I hit the button and the picture shows up not zoomed?

How are you zooming in? If you are using a button to zoom, that is to check the focus: it's just enlarging the image for your convenience during focusing. In order to get a zoomed-in image when press the shutter button, you need to adjust the zoom ring manually on the lens barrel before taking the picture.

My tv looks like its zoomed in, but in the menu its not. Any ideas?

If you checked in the tv menu and it's not zoomed in their then the issue might not be with the tv. If you are using a decoder check it to make sure it is not sending the picture to the tv already zoomed. Check the settings of your decoder or try hitting the # button on your remote, some products use that button to zoom the picture.

LG 50" the pitcher is off the screen each side by

Ok, first make sure you or someone in family didn't hit the "HD Zoom" on your cable remote or whatever kind of remote you have. On ours - Cable- if you hit it once it is in "Normal" picture which on ours has black around edges on a non Hd channel. Then if you hit it again it Zooms once makes pix very large and if you hit button a third time brings it into a wide screen Zoom that fills the Tv screen. If we are viewing HD channels I put it on Normal which will fill the screen and give you the best HD pix. If we are viewing a NON HD channel, then normal will have black on sides, so I hit the Zoom a couple times to fill in the screen. My brother in law had this problem and couldn't figure out why his Sports channel Scores were always half cut off the screen! it was zoomed in too much for that channel. His sports channel was in HD so needed to be on normal instead of zoomed in.
if it is not the Cable remote then this is a second possible cause:

The other thing that happened to me was - we hardly ever use our original TV remote that came with the TV. but one day our picture looked weird and the cable remote didn't adjust it. One of us had hit the "P SIZE" button on the TV remote. this changes your pix from - 4:3 ratio to 16:9 ratio and vice versa. I put clicked that button and on the TV it shows whether it is at 4:3 or 16:9. For newer wide screen TVs you want that set at 16:9 ratio.

All cable company remotes probably are a bit different so check with your company ... to find out where the zoom control is on their remote.

It feels like the picture is zoomed in i can't see the whole picture.

Check your remote for a "P. Size" or "DSP" button. Clicking these should present options for resizing the screen to a more accurate/suitable size.

If you don't have the remote, try cycling through the menu by hitting the Menu button on the T.V. itself. I need the specific brand if you need help further. Good luck

okay i literally just figured out how to zoom on it. you go to the camera and press options and go to settings. you then hit the right button until you get to the one that says size. and i just clicked one of the sizes, and it will take you back to the camera and just press the up button and it will zoom up to four =D. you can also turn the picture into black and white, sepia, and negative in the settings. and change for the lighting of the picture. hope i helped you =]
