Question about PC Laptops

1 Answer

Acer Travelmate 7720G

I have a problem with my laptop as it will not start.... I have checked the user guide and the answer does not appear there.

When laptop is used off battery only:

When I press the start button, the power initiates , and then proceeds to shut down again after 5-6 seconds. I suspect that the lithium battery is no longer good as the system does not recognise the battery as being in the computer when the system is not logged to mains power.

When the laptop is connected to mains power , the laptop then only recognises the battery and then has 3 attempts at starting then closes down...

In both of these instances you can here the processor trying to read.....

Any suggestions ?

Ok you need to replace the battery or you may have a fault with the laptop itself.

another thing you make is a virus.
