I hooked up my TomTom Go 720 to my computer
and an icon popped up and said you have files to copy to your computer
so I downloaded them to Pisca. Then I deleted them because I didn't
know what they were for - and it turns out they were all the icons for fuel stations on my tomtom. Is there a way I can download them again?

clock probably doesn't stay either.....sounds likke the wiring may be incorrect...there are 2 battery + leads on these radios...One is yellow...which should be hooked up to a hot lead that is hot all the time even with the key off( you could just run a wire to the positive side of the battery)..thios lead is the memory lead that keeps stations, settings, and the clock....then there is the red lead that is supposed to be hooked up to a switched positive lead...such as the accessory lead fron the ignition switch....it's a good bet that the red and yellow leads are hooked together and that they are hooked to a switched ignition lead right now...all you have to do is disconnect the yellow lead from where is hooked now and hook it to a hot all the time then your memory, and stations should be retained
Okay, this is an easy one. Here is the link to the owner's manual. http://resources.jvc.com/Resources/00/00/99/FSUN3105-631.pdf copy and paste the above link in your browser and you can save a .pdf file version of the owners manual.
Your best bet is to reinstall the maps, from scratch. This will ensure that all the maps are included. This guide should help you out: http://www.tomtom.com/support/solution.php?GID=1&PID=1682&CID=224-225&Language=1
I have a 93 accord ex with the bose amp system. Had a Sony deck put in it. It had the popping and the noises. It was installed at a store and they had to hook the red power wire to the antenna wire to get the sound to come out of the system when playing a CD. I thought that was bogus to have the antenna up all the time so I took it back out and put another quick hookup harness in it and it did the same thing. Will not put out any sound till the red power wire is hooked up to the antenna wire so that it goes up when the key is turned on. Installed the same stereo in a 94 taurus SHO with amp and it worked great. I believe that there is an expensive kit that converts the bose system to hook up a unit so that it doesn't pop click buzz, and have to have the antenna up to play.

If you are referring to the presets tuner station settings being deleted when powered off and or the clock resetting its time, then you have to verify that the Pioneer DEH-P580MP is wired as follows: Black - chassis/body ground/GND Yellow - always on/constant B+12 such as the + terminal of the battery; Red - switched on B+12 such as the ACC of the IGN switch.
Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.
customer support suggested this: Turn the volume control, and while the yellow speaker icon is still visible, press and hold the volume control until you here a double beep. This confirms the new volume setting.
you need to press and hold the seek button the it should beep (or not) then you should be able to serch through manualy, just don't hit the button to fast as it will turn the auto search back on?
hope this helps?
I dont think a zune is capable of being directly read from in a unit such as this.
When you plug your zune into a computer for instance, you need special software to upload and edit music on the device. I dont think the device pops up as a drive in "my computer"
if you are using a drive "usb key" that does simply pop up on a pc, and it works on your deck, this would prove to me that your deck is simply not capable of reading the info on your zune.
aka, there is no way to install drivers on your deck that are capable of reading off the zune. Your usb key works because it simply reads as a drive.
this isnt really a solution, but maybe check with the manufacturer of your deck. send them an email and see if there is any way to make a zune read properly.
