You won't find anything on the circuitry, not even from Dell. I was chatting with a tech Friend the other day on the same issue for a Dell machine. He had traced the chip down on the board and asked if I had one or could find one. After looking through all my resources and talking to a Dell tech that I use, found nothing. The Dell tech that I use couldn't find anything on the specific chip with his Dell resources and told me that motherboard replacement was the only option. Which I already knew. I've tried replacing the chip before with chips from dead parts boards that I have, and have only had about a 15% success rate. The chip replacement is a real nightmare, involves soldiering on the board under the chip. So, I'm sorry, but there's no info on this. I may be able to get you break down diagrams and instructions for your machine if you want to replace the board yourself. Let me know.

No power (dead after a lightning storm hit the house. Tried replacing the two power circuit boards and have a current going in and all around all circuit boards. Still no sign of life when plugged in...

If its after a lightning storm, it really could be anything. Your mainboard could quite possibly be shot. In fact almost anything in the TV could be damaged by a big surge. It could even be that your backlights went out from the surge too.

Does your power LED come on? What is it connected to? Directly to the power board or is it connected to the mainboard? If you have current through all the circuit boards, you may have a burnt tuner or chip on the mainboard.

Might not be worth fixing depending on the size/model. If its a big LCD, you could probably get a good deal on a working one of the same size with a broken LCD panel (~$100). Then you can just replace the broken LCD panel with yours and you have a fixed TV.

Bluish screen on Acer AL2016w LCD monitor

Good day sir, you are right I may say, the loss of red will cause the screen to go blue, the cable that connects to the lcd and mainboard usually has 3 wires, red green and blue, my guess is the red wire isnt connected properly. there are two terminals one on the LCD and one on the mainboard. better check both side of that cable. It may be caused by cold solder joints, due to the fact that it pops up occasionally, sad to say that any adjustments wont work. unless it is fixed. hope this may help. if you have any more questions, please feel free to ask again. thanks.

Power OK, can smell gas, but no ignition. Get the

The EO4 is listed as a Fan Failure. However, these heaters have a tendency to go EO4 for no apparent reason. It is what I call the "heater hic-cupping". The easiest thing to try first is to reset the heaters computer. To do this, you will open the right hand side door, find the POWER toggle switch and move it to OFF. Then turn off the Circuit Breaker to the heater, shutting down all electrical power to the unit. You will need to wait about 15 to 20 minutes before you do anything else.

After that time, revese the order. Turn on the Circuit Breaker, then the Power Switch on the heater. Try and start the heater. The computer will "reboot" flashing codes like --- or 888, do not worry about those. When the display panel comes back to normal, check what the heater is reading for a water temp and compare that to what the water is actually. Hopefully, they will be right on, or close, together. The heater will try to start 3 times before going into "Lock Out" mode.

If it does start, it was just the computer hic-cupping. If it does not start and you receive another EO code, on the backside of the Display Panel, there are Diagnostic Lights. If there is a light on by a couple of letters, like HLS or PS, then that is what is malfunctioning.

Motorola Q screen cuts out to a black screen randomly

OK> I have a Q9h with this problem, took it to the shop, they said its a common problem with the Q9h, something to do with a mainboard flaw. He said it cant be fixed.

Now I say it can. What you need is the screwdriver to open the back (T4 or T5, not sure exactly) and some paper. Now, open the back of the phone, pull off the casing, and you should have an open mainboard. Now, take a strip of paper, fold it up, and slip it in under the sim card slot (there is a small gap between the main mainboard and the piece where the sim card is read. Make sure the paper is snug, not tight, or you may have trouble closing the casing. Snap the casing back in, tighten the screws well, and you should be laughing. I've been good for a week, and saved myself $100 on a new mainboard or buying a new phone.
