Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Why does my system cut off when there is a loud noise?

By loud noise I assume you mean in the movie you're watching or the CD you're listening to.
That's the protection circuit kicking in. Depending on how you have the player configured (audio levels, effects, mode....etc) it can "overdrive" the outputs and cause the protection circuit to energize.
If this happens a lot try changing the audio mode to something a little less (change speaker levels to a lower number, no bass boost or at least not as much, etc.).
Good luck.

Gateway P-7809u PC Notebook: Temperature High

Try also to elevate the computer base to keep ventilation good; perhaps invest in a laptop cooler. You are not going to be able to change the fan settings on this particular computer.

Honeywell Thermostat RTH6350 makes heat run in AC mode after AC runs

Well, if it wasn't doing that before then you more than likely know its in your wiring. Cools down then heats back up sounds like the auto change over is on, and the heat setting is higher than the cool setting?

Just bought an Adidas Seoul Watch ADH2044 and can't set the time. I've looked in the manual that came with it and online and can't find anything to help. The Adidas website isn't any help either.

Figured it out - Press & hold 'A' then press 'D'. THEN press 'B' to toggle through the selections to set T1. T2 (for another time zone) is up or down in the offset. Good luck!

btw - A, B buttons are from top to bottom on left and C, D are top to bottom right

When i type in a decimal and then hit math and try to convert into a fraction, my calculator still shows the decimal as the answer. im pretty sure im doing it right but i dont know what is wrong. is there...

Yes, there is a feature or, setting in the mode that will stop you from converting fractions. Go to the mode screen by pressing the [MODE] key. [Down arrow] 9 times and, highlight and select the n/d by pressing the [ENTER] key. Next, [Down arrow] 1 time and, highlight and select Frac by pressing [ENTER] key. Just escape or, quit out of the mode screen and, the calculator should now be set up to convert your fractions. Just remember to go back and, change the last setting you made when you go back to dealing with decimal numbers.

Hi i get a set counter on my 220 what does that mean

I think it means that the machine is set up for a key counter , you need to enter the engineers service program mode and set copier 5 - 113 from 1 to zero.If you don't know what you are doing with the service program mode be very careful, if you get lost turn the machine off at its switch then start again.
enter service mode through the control panel -- press in sequence yellow button , 1, 0, 7 , press and hold orange button for at least 3 seconds - this should enter mode, repeat if it doesn't. press 1 to select copier OK, 5 to select mode OK , scan through using the previous and next buttons to 113, OKpress 0 then OK to change .exit mode by pressing exit repeatedly until normal screen appears

Locked out of the menue ,Need to reset command mode

Indeed, I did the same thing.... I did find the answer in the manual!
Here's a copy of it (pg 23):

Set the command mode for the remote so it matches
the command mode for the recorder you set above.
1 Hold down ENTER
2 While holding down ENTER, enter the
command mode code number using the
number buttons.
Command Mode Code number
DVD1 number button 1
DVD2 number button 2
DVD3 number button 3
3 Hold down both the number buttons and
ENTER at the same time for more than 3
seconds.
4 Let up, press RETURN, all done!

Acer aspire 5010 bugged fan

as for aspire products, that would be part of the aspire 5000 series.
if your processor is getting that hot often its probably overheating. theres probably some dust bunnies in the fan or the fan pipes. try dusting it out and see if that solves the problems. you generally shouldnt have to alter the fan speeds at all because they are temperature controlled.
try resetting the bios to defaults if some how the fan settings were changed to funny values. it should definately be kicking in sooner than that.

Restart problem

I would assume you mean the CMOS. Try to check if the reset jumper is set. Check the board manual for the right jumper setting for it. Also Try changing the CMOS better as this is the one storing the information. You can purchase a batter from any electrical or hardware supply.
