Hi - You can download the manual from the link underlined in blue below:

FinePix S5200

You need to look at page 25:

change number of frames? - b2eebd1.jpg
The higher the quality setting the fewer frames your card will hold, so reduce the quality or buy a higher capacity card.

Please take a moment to rate this solution & let us know if the information given was useful to you - Good Luck!

When I turn on the camera it says 'Frame No. full' and doesn't work... it's the FinePix s9500 and the memory shouldn't be full as I've deleted most of it... How can I fix it please?

It doesn't say the memory is full, it says the frame number is full. Basically you've taken 9999 pictures and it doesn't know what to do with the file name. Look in the setup menu for a frame number reset, or a file number reset. If you can't find either of those, look for a general purpose reset function - it's usually right at the bottom near the card formatting function because you hardly ever use it.

You will have to manage the situation that you will now have duplicate file names, since it will start numbering from 0001 again. I suggest you archive all your current photos, and start anew somehow.

When I turn my camera on it says !Frame No. Full. I cant do anything with it though. I cant download the photos to make room. My husband thinks that it is not reading the card but reading the small amount...

You go into the menu. You choose Set-Up. Then you go to the Frame Number. It is probably on something like CONT. Change the setting to something like RENEW.

This is the answer for all the FujiFilm cameras.

I have a Nikon D40. I wish my photographs to be numbered consecutively, 0 to whatever the numbering system goes up to (9999?), even when using a new card, without going into different files or...

You need to set "file number sequence" to "on" in the setup menu. However to get to this menu item you need to ensure that "CSM/setup menu" is set to "full", also in the setup menu.
The setup menu is the one marked with the spanner (wrench).
