Works fine on mains, battery charges fine but radio only works intermittenly with battery sometimes does not work at all with battery
Well, I had the same problem and I took it in, cuz I couldn't find a solution.
The Dewalt service center in portland, replaced the POWER PCB ASSY, PCB ASSEMBELY RELAY, and the BATTERY HOLDER.
I had a feeling, It was something simple so I asked them to return the faulty parts to me. They refused.
I talked to them more about it saying they are basically stealing my parts by refusing to return them to me.
They said it was store policy.
I think it is shady and spoke to the manager. She said they would return the old parts to me.
When I get there to pick up my radio, they didn't save the parts.
I feel ripped off like they may have ovecharged me or, just said they put something in when they didn't/didn't need to.
Am I justified? They should do something for me
