Hi, I have got an Olympus mju 300 Digital camera, and I have bought a 2GB XD Type M+ memory card, however when I put the 2GB memory card in, it takes the camera a good 15 seconds to start up, whereas with...

There are several reasons why could happen:

1. 2GB is a lot of space compared to 16MB. The camera checks the card each time you switch it on.
2. Card is corrupt & should be reformatted.
3. Card is defective & should be replaced.

Mju 400 slow down with 2GB xD-PicCard?!?!

It's possible that your camera, being 7 years old, was never designed for a 2gb card. You can find cards of all sizes at amazon.com

Didn't realize the XD card wasn't in the camera and want to now transfer the six pictures we took on the memory of the camera to the XD Card. How do I transfer the pictures?

i don't know that is is usually possible to transfer from the camera memory to a card in the camera. i would offload those few photos to your computer and use an xd card from now on :).

Olympus xd card not does not read

Are you saying your card is full of pictures? Why not download them to your computer using a cardreader? Then, format the card in your camera to give it a fresh start.

How to activate panorama?

Panorama shooting lets you create a panoramic picture, using the OLYMPUS
Master software from the provided CD-ROM. An Olympus xD-Picture Card is required for Panorama shooting. If the card is a Fuji xD card then the panorama feature would be disabled to you.

Xd card type

A Fuji card can be used in the camera; the only function that will be disabled is if you wish to take panorama shots with the camera. Panorama in the Olympus cameras is proprietary therefore in order to shoot panorama shots Olympus requires that you specifically use their xD picture card. Otherwise the Fuji card will work just fine.
