Iam not able to copy video songs into my Sansae260 mp3 player bcoz i lost the software, what is the other option...plz help me..bhanu

Check the specification of your MP3 player to determine thetype of video file format it uses. Most common video files that MP3 players use are, AVI andWMV, there may be others such as FLV, MOV and DivX. If your player cannot play a video then it is anincompatible video file format, then you need to convert that video file to aformat that your MP3 player uses. I connect sansae260 to PC, Nothing apears on Sansa's Screen

You may need to now reset the player, that may have been a bit much for it.
To reset your Sansa Mp3 player.
  1. Slide and hold the Power switch up for approximately 20 seconds.
  2. Release the Power switch.
  3. To turn the player on, slide the Power switch up then release instantly.
If that does not get your player working again, try and Format to clear any corrupt files that may be present.

PC cannot detect Sansa e260

Download the Sansa Recovery Tool from the Sansa website.
Format - Erases Everything: Connect your Sansa player to the computer and open Windows Media Player. Click on the Sync tab. Pull down the drop down menu underneath the Sync tab by moving your cursor over the Sync tab and left clicking on the little black arrow underneath the Sync tab. Highlight "Sansa 1GB" (wording may vary slightly), and then select "Format." - this should erase everything.
Firmware Upgrade- Erases Everything: Get the latest firmware upgrade from Sansa - it updates the firmware and erases every song in the player all at once. Note: this method doesn't work if already have the latest firmware. Go to this website and click "Firmware Updater" to find out: http://www.sandisk.com/Retail/DriverDownloads.aspx

How to reset sansa e260

You can do this by simply holding down the Power/Menu button for about 15 seconds. After the reset, any changes you have made to the e200 during its last use will be lost.

How to insall sansa e260 mp3

My same player did not come with the CD. Depending on which program you use to get your music on your player, the CD is not needed. Try connecting your sansa to your computer and open whatever program you use for your music.
