Put the CD in the drive and the adapter on your computer.
Go to the device manager then right click on the exclamation point with network controller on it. Click on update driver. choose the automatic option. After that just use the windows XP utility in the lower right . Right click on the single computer icon then click on view available wireless network. Select your network then click on connect.

I got a new computer and it doesnt want to read my canon camera when i hook it up throug the usb

If you haven't already installed the device driver, then you should of received a small CD with your camera. Try installing them, if the problem continues, then try using one of the high speed USB2 ports at the back of your computer instead of the ones in the front, if all else fails try to change the storage device to something other then a SD.

Hope it helps :)

How can i connect a wireless internet connection with a compaq armada E500

Get a PCMCIA to USB2 adapter that has an external 5 Volt connection to it to supply the higher current for the wireless adapter. The power can come from the USB via USB adapter cable
After installing the adapter, the USB wireless device should be installed just like in any later notebook. The wireless device requires USB2 and high power. and won't work off a powered hub.

Usb 2.0

Hi,
this is a common error with operating systems and devices.
If you go into my Computer/system/device manager. And remove the installed USB devices. shutdown the computer, and reboot it. then try putting your USB device in.
What general happens, is that if you have had an older device in the USB port at any time, the port configures itself to this setting. options are to try another port on the computer ( some older ports only support usb1.1 )
ensure you have up to date drivers on the connecting device and on the connecting computer.
Hope this helps Mike @ Compurepair.

USB2 high speed not recognize

Try opening up the device manager and unistall everything in the Universal Serial Bus Controllers. Then reboot and let windows reinstall the USB controllers. Windows should now be able to recognize properly USB2 devices.

It sounds like your Windows XP might be missing the USB2 drivers. Try going here http://www.windowsmarketplace.com/ and download the driver needed and see if that fixes your issue.
