This is happening because of overload on your phone memory,and the other cause of it is there is virus in your phone. 1.you should reset your phone completely by using secret codes .
2.you should delete some amount of data from your phone memory.
i cant send or receive messages from my mobile, sony ericsson w100i . "Message Corrupt" is the message given when i open my inbox in a conversation mode. in normal inbox i can see an empty message. Before a week it showed "Out of memory delete messages" displayed. And i bought this mobile only before 2 weeks ago.. Please solve my problem.

Using the Internal Keypad
1. Open the flip and press[MENU].
2. Press Messaging.
3. Press the Right Soft Key
l Press Erase Inbox to erase
All (read and unread) Messages
or Only read Messages in the
l Press Erase Sent to erase
all unlocked messages stored
in the Sent folder.
l Press Erase Drafts to
erase all unlocked messages
stored in the Drafts folder.
l Press Erase All to erase
all messages from the Inbox,
Sent, and Drafts folders (except
locked messages). You can
choose whether or not unread
messages will be erased.
4. Select Yes to erase the messages
A confirmation message is
First open your phone. Press upper right (-) key to get menu. Press joystick up 1 time to get Messaging. Press joystick center select button 1 time, then down 1 time for "Inbox" (or down 3 times for email). Press center select 1 time, joystick down 1time for Inbox, center select for first message. Press upper right (-) key for "More", then joystick down 2 times to get "Forward", press center select. Press upper left (-) key to "Continue", press joystick up 1 time to get "enter email addr." Press joystick center select button, and enter the email address you want to forward the message to. After you have typed in the email address, press upper left (-) key "OK" 2 times to "Send", if you normally enter a password, type it now, press upper left (-) key for "OK" and your message will be sent. you must insert the message center number in the message settings(setup)....
to get the message center number follow the steps below...
1. call to your network provider customer care 2. ask them for the message center number 3. note down the message center number 4. insert that message center number in the message settings and save it... one this completes it will not ask you for the setup while sending messages or when you open the inbox..
