When I try to access I keep getting "page cannot be displayed , what is the problem here ?

Facebook uses https as its protocol once you have logged in. If other websites (such as Google, Yahoo, Amazon, etc.) work but websites such as Facebook, online banking, and others do not, then it seems that there is a problem with the security settings of the web browser since it would appear that the problems are only with websites that use secure HTTP (which is what the https protocol provides). Presuming that you are using Internet Explorer (as I have found it to be the most commonly used browser when this problem occurs), what you need to do is reset your security options back to defaults. You accomplish this by going to the Internet Options control panel applet or go to Tools'Internet Options from the pull-down menus within Internet Explorer and then click on the Security tab. You will find four icons at the top of the window for that tab: Internet, Local Intranet, Trusted Sites, and Restricted Sites. Click on each in turn and make sure that each has the Default Level button greyed out. If the Default Level button lights up for one of the options, click on it to reset its settings. After this, click on the Advanced tab and then click on the button toward the bottom that is labelled "Restore Advanced Settings." After this, click OK and close all windows of Internet Explorer that you currently have open. Wait about 30 seconds (to insure that all active Internet Explorer processes close out of memory) and then open Internet Explorer again and try to go to Facebook. If all goes well, you should now be able to get in.

I hope this helps. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Change Facebook Homepage Design or Display

Now a days Facebook is getting more than other Social sites like Orkut, etc.. But are you tired of the old Facebook interface? Must say that by dint of this interface see all day, some may suffer from depression.
The good factor is that you can now change the display interface of your Facebook Homepage. Following the numerous groups who claim to invite all your friends and click on a "button" magic ... which will change the design of your Facebook.

Below is the tricks to change the Facebook Homepage Design or Display depending on the web browser you use:

You need to Install a Plug-in called Stylish and restart the firefox. Stylish lets you easily install themes and skins for Google, Facebook, YouTube, Orkut, and many, many other sites. You can even customize Firefox and other programs themselves.

Take out irrelevant content, change colors, or completely redesign the entire site. You can even use user styles as themes on the interface of Firefox, Thunderbird, and SeaMonkey themselves.

Stylish lets you easily manage user styles. Add, delete, enable, disable, and organize with a few clicks of a mouse, no code to edit, no obscure configuration to find. Stylish's companion website,, hosts tens of thousands of user styles made by other Stylish users that you can try.

Google Chrome:

You just need to download Beautify Facebook Extension and restart your browser. It also has some interesting features like:
A nice gradient background
Rounded corners
Navigation bar fixed in position
Changes the title of the page
Emotion bar for chat
Favicon alerts
Keyboard Shortcuts
Shift + H: Home
Shift + P: Profile
Shift + F: Friends
Shift + I: Inbox
Shift + S: Settings

Now, in Opera web browser, we dont have any Add-on or Plug-in to do this job. But it is still easier than Firefox or Chrome. Just visit styles and select the design you liked. Choose "Load as user script" and visit the Facebook page. Thats it !!

Help facebook log

since facebook has made many upgrades to how the homepage is displayed, it will vary on what your settings are for your facebook page. after you log on to your facebook page, if you look in the upper right hand corner of your page, you will see an arrow, click on that arrow and then click on settings. in this area is where you can change how you view your page and what you have displayed on your home facebook page.

I have been trying to get on facebook but everytime I try an error message from Internet Explorer pops up saying "cannot display webpage" Please help

Open Internet Explorer, click on tools then internet options. In the first tab, under browsing history select delete... have check marks in everything except Form data, Passwords, and InPrivate Filtering data. Now click delete. Depending on how full you histroy is, this can take a bit to complete. Once completed, close IE and try to log back into facebook. If this still does not work, search for facebook on google, and try again. If the search option works, delete you current shortcut to facebook and re-add from the open page.

I hope this helps
