The model number you posted under does not have a lamp. It's Crt projection.

but if you have a different model number and if it does require a lamp, it's usually located in the front. You have to remove the lower from bezel to access it. Sometimes it on the side(Right side facing).

I have a 52 inch rca rear projection and has a red tint to it when dark image or picture

I've had this problem with my projection TV recently. I would say your lens/lamp is to blame. It might be time to change it, depends on the last time it was changed, most of the time, the TV will tell you that it needs to be changed, but not always. I think your best bet is the TV lamp.

Mitsubishi WD-52525 52-inch DLP HDTV ywllow warning lamp light

that means your lamp it is getting to the end of its life.
sometimes even if the lamp still good the TV will send you that message because that timer is closed to 5000 hours

What you can do is open the lamp door, closed again and the tv will ask you if you replaced it the lamp, and just say yes and that sign will go away

or just simple replace the lamp. 915P020010
