Doing the regular sync just transfers from the computer to iPhone. To sync from the iPhone to computer. Connect the iPhone, after it runs through its regular sync click on iPhoto. It will open up and ask you if you want to import the photos. Select yes and it will import the photos from your iPhone into iPhoto.
On the PC you can use Picasa or Windows Photo Gallery which is included with windows. Plug in your phone, and start Windows Photo Gallery. Go to the File menu and choose import. Choose your iPhone and it will do the rest. They come up in your Pictures directory by default. Just to be clear, iTunes does not do this on Windows.

Well, it is easy to make http://www.transphone.net/ios-transfer/iphone-photos-to-computer.html by enabling iCloud Photo Library. Go to settings > iCloud > Photo's > iCloud photo library. If so, you can safe some space by using optimize iPhone storage in that same settings panel. And you can import the pictures by logging in your iCloud account.

How do i transfer my pics frm my laptop on my ipod touch pls advise

Transferring photos from PC to iPod touch is not that difficult. iCloud and iTunes can both be helpful.
Using "Photo Stream" to sync photos automatically with iCloud is pretty convenient. Go to "Settings > iCloud > Photos (Photo Stream on iOS 6)" and then turn on My Photo Stream. Then get your iCloud started on your PC. In the iCloud Control Panel, Check the "Photos" and then enable the "Photo Stream" option. After that, import the photos into the "Photo Stream" folder on your PC, and then you will be able to view the photos on your iPod touch. Using iCloud to transfer photos from PC to iPod touch is easy, but this method needs Wi-Fi connection. Only over Wi-Fi connection can iCloud sync photo on PC with iPod touch.
transfer-pics-frm-laptop-ipod-oxaxc0rwhkhzilrwacqreyis-3-0.png Using iTunes to sync photos with iPod touch is also easy. But you should be very careful of the syncing function of iTunes because it is a double-edge sword. Once wrong click, you may lose data in your iPod.
1. Plug your iPhone into computer via the USB cable. Launch iTunes if it doesn't launch automatically.
2. Find "File" option on the upper left corner. Then click "Add File to Library".
3. Select photos from your PC and then iTunes will sync the photos to iPhone automatically.

How do you remove synced photos from the iphone?

You can do this in iTunes - with the iPhone connected select the 'photos' tab and deselect the folder containing the photos, then hit Sync to remove them.
Alternatively, just move the photos to a different location on your hard drive (out of any folder that is set to sync to iPhone), then connect to iTunes and hit sync.
Hope that helps!
