Call the manufacturer and give them your VIN and year and they should be able to give you a generic # to use, but sometimes they want you to pull the radio and give them the #s off of the back of the radio.
tuen radio off...hold #1 and #6 on preset buttons...tuen radio back on an alphanumeric number will display theere should be 8 digits and 2 numbers...you will need to call acura and give them these numbers and they should give you a lock code to enter hope this helps
Your GM product has a safety alarm, it shuts down the radio , or locks it. I send ours to a GM dealer to get it unlocked. They don't give those codes out.
I once took off the factory radio from my s10 99 chev blazer... to install an MP3 player... Then I sold the Mp3 player and had to reinstall the factory radio back on my blazer... It asked me for a code... and I didn't know where to find it... So I entered the year of my truck "1999" and it unlocked it. Try entering the Year of the model! It should work.
