Hi davidfluff

You need to check around the output stages for dry solder joints. Then also replace the BD139 bias control transistor on the heatsink with a 2sd669. The BD139 can be prone to thermal runaway in this circuit Then setup the bias current and DC offset in the output stage. If you are not familiar with the things that I have just told you, you need to contact a technician, if you mention these things to him, then you stand a fair chance of getting it sorted out.

I am more than happy to answer any other questions you may have about it, please get back to me here, or use the ASK function to go straight to me :) If you are still unsure, have problems, or we need to look at the situation more deeply, then before you give a rating for this advice, hit the ASK button Thanks for using FixYa, If you consider the advice I have given you as sound, a FixYa rating is a great reward for my efforts to help you. NAD 3150 cuts out

Hello. Slapping and it working is a tail sign that there is a loose connection, bad solder point, loose wire. When a circuit board gets hot, solder joints separate and an opening occurs in the circuit. Open it up and get a visual. Look for cold solder joint, make sure all the connectors are secure. Good Luck

Nad c320bee keep over heating

Hello
Disconnect all speakers and switch ON the set without any input connected, and see whether it heats up. A moderate heat is permissable, but should not over heat. If it overheats without any load or input connected, the set need service. OK.

My 2005 chevy monte calro has been overheating it has hot coolant on dash but fluids are cold, goes off when applied gas hard to get fluids pumping, heater doesn't work and recently replaced radiator and...

Check the thermostat, if it isn't opening when engine warms up, the coolant in the engine will overheat and make pressure in the cooling system but the fluid in the radiator will still be cold.

Thermo valve broken, does this cause over heating?

if you mean "thermostat" valve .. then that can fail either open or closed . if it fails open then the engine will not reach normal operating temperatures .. if it fails closed then yes the engine will overheat .. another common failure is the radiator fan .. it only runs when the car is not moving .. as long as the car is moving then cooling air is available so the fan is not needed ... so if your car does not overheat when driven but overheats when stopped or idling then suspect the radiator fan or thermal switch (mounted on the radiator) .. that switch turns on the fan when the radiator gets so hot ... you can just listen for the fan when hot .. you should hear it .. .. if your car gets too hot while driving then suspect a bad thermostat or clogged radiator .. sometimes a bad water pump (broken implellers) will cause the trouble ..

Connect subwoofer etc to nad 3020I stereo amplifier

Hi Info
You can use a 2 x male RCA to RCA female adaptor lead(what you need to ask for)  like this one 4d0dcde.jpg

use it to jumper your pre-out/main in connection on the rear, and connect an RCA lead to the Female socket on the adaptor lead. That will get you going. You can get them most places that sell electronic bits and peices. I am happy to answer any questionsa you may have

My NAD M3 amplifier stops working abruptly.

If NAD doesnt respond , find a decent amp/stereo tech in your area.
I can suggest some depending on where you are.

There's most likely a component failure that regular folks wont be able to fix
