if the lamp indicator is flashing that was mean you have to check the lamp inside if worn out which need to replace.if the power indicator is blinking you must look for the power supply board which failed check for any burnt parts.
Your lamp could be burnt out. The tv will keep retrying to start for a few times then will shut down. remove the lamp and see if it looks burnt. When you replace it you will also have to reset the lamp timer. check your manual to see how to reset.
Find the ground wire on one of the lights and add another ground wire to a good clean metal surface and see if that fixes the problem. It defently sounds like a ground problem at one of the lights.
You likely have a bad lamp. It could also be a bad lamp driver, but I'm betting a lamp change will solve your problem. Buy an original Sony lamp only; the aftermarket replacements are cheaper but you get what you pay for and they can cause problems. Please be sure to rate this solution. Thanks!
Good Day, teagues; It sounds like a bad lamp. Lamps normally have a 5,000-hour life. Looking at the lamp can tell you if it’s bad if it looks burnt, but not always. Your Panasonic TV is also known for having failure of the ballast, which turns the lamp on. 95% of the time it’s the lamp, trouble shooting the ballast is a little more challenging. The lamp replacement is a very simple process; instructions are in the TV’s owner’s manual. Call the factory, they will send you the lamp to your home with complete detailed instructions. Does the light blink? If it is blinking a 3 code, the IC's need to be replaced. Those three lamps as you called them are not lamps, they are the three picture tubes.
There is a lamp cover on the back that only requires a few screws to remove. the lamp is behine there, you will need a standard screwdriver to remove the lamp and inspect it. If indeed the lamp is bad you will see it shattered and/or burned at the tip. The timer light flashing for 30 seconds is normal as the TV is going thorugh a boot up process. One word of advise, don't touch the glass part of the lamp pnly the case.
