Re: my 3rd reply...
Did you choose "obtain an ip address automativally" under properties in the network connections? If both pc's have the same ip address, then that would create a conflict.
run ipconfig on both pc's and verify the ip address for both pc and that the ip address starts with 192.xxx.xxx.xxx .
An addition, make sure the ethernet cable from the modem is plugged into the internet port on the router. If you dont have the ethernet cable plugged into the proper port on the router than that too can casue conflict.
a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

You won't get internet connection that way because there is no connection between the first parkervision and the 2nd one. Best way is use only one parkervision router. Connect WAN port to modem for internet, 1st lan port connect to your pc and 2nd lan port connect to 2nd pc in other room.
2nd way is, use only one parkervision. Connect WAN port to modem for internet, 1st lan port connect to your pc, setup wireless SSID and connect your 2nd pc to this router for internet wirelessly. Assuming your 2nd pc has wireless capability.
Yes, the 2nd PC will need an RJ 45 cable ( straight through ) not a crossover. This cable is connected to the port connector in the router on the back numbered 1-2-3-4. That is if it is a 4 port router. You can select either one preferably the number 2 port will do. Then the PC should detect the connections and you will be on. automatically. 1. Check the network in the task bar on the bottom right of you screen for the 2nd PC and see if you have a connection. If this is Windows XP you will see an Icon with to monitors showing . Right click to see the connectivity.
You must make sure that your PC get connection with the router first. you must enter on the command prompt. 1st step- click start, go on run. 2nd step- type "cmd", there will be a black window which will opened. 3rd step- write "ipconfig", there will be a default gateway given just below the subnet mask. 4th step- write ping then the default gateway; for example: "ping 192.168.0.1". if is is replying, your PC get connection with your router. But if not there may be a problem with your cable or something else. then your can try to make a reset no your router. there is a reset button at the back of the router.
1st. install your motorola k1 pc suite into your computer.
2nd. download the phone software update from www.motorola.com.
3rd. install the phone software update into your computer.
4th. run the phone software update and connect your cellphone using the usb data cable. do this while you are connected to the internet.
5th. do not disconnect until it is not finished.
For what it is worth, I fhave found streaming video does not function well using a wireless connection. The options of multipale routers will work as long as you configure them as to not have conflicting IP address assignment's via DHCP, and the routers do not have matching IP address's. Never fear all is possible with paticence. BPCS
