Question about Linksys Wireless-G Broadband Router
Yes, I'm doing all that I said previously, but theres still no connection for my 2nd pc, only my #1 pc connects to the internet. I don't know what else to do....what am I missing?
Did you choose "obtain an ip address automativally" under properties in the network connections? If both pc's have the same ip address, then that would create a conflict.
run ipconfig on both pc's and verify the ip address for both pc and that the ip address starts with 192.xxx.xxx.xxx .
An addition, make sure the ethernet cable from the modem is plugged into the internet port on the router. If you dont have the ethernet cable plugged into the proper port on the router than that too can casue conflict.
Hope this helps and good luck.
