RCA MODEL D52W19 I PRESS THAT POWER BUTTON GREEN LIGHT FLICKS FOR

try unplugging the tv for a few hours. then plug it in and push the power button on the front of the tv.

it has something to do with this processor issue inside the tv....its pretty much a stupid thing.

should have been a recall because everyone has the same problem on here.

this is pretty much just a band-aid over cancer, but i've been having to do this for about a month now, and it works.

Tv wont power up makes a noise but no picture

Your power transformer is likely shot. It'll cost at least $200 to have it replaced. Someone can come to your house to diagnose it. Usually costs around $65.

Akai pt5499hd just shut down

If you are electrically inclined, there is a power deflector board that may need to be replaced. This deals with the high voltage part of the TV, so I am not responsible. The part number we had to but and replace was BP94-01289A or about $130.

No pic but sound :/

You are having a high voltage problem. Quite possibly in the horizontal deflection. I would check the horizontal output and regulator transistors.
