Leaking water

if this Is a Westinghouse this is a fare common occurrence , its coming from the auto defrost system as the evap fan down in the pan isn't working so all the water that should be evaporated isn't and it keeps adding to it till pan overflows , a quick ck with a good flashlight will allow you to see full pan , if water is coming from lower door , then your auto defrost drain hole is frozen up , unfortunately only way to access it is to mt fridge and unplug it for several days and allow it to thaw out then chase hole out with a pipe cleaner and replug it in , keep food away from this hole and you shouldn't have anymore problems

I have a westinghouse side by side frig about 10 years old. Model number RS695V Serial number 34700050.The problem is water is leaking out of bottom of freezer door. I believe it is caused by a clogged...

The hose that goes to the water dispenser most likely has a crack in it somewhere inside the door. Usually the heat from the light in the door deteroriates the hose and lets water leak inside the door every time the dispenser is used.

Refrigerator leaks alot of water from freezer area

Most of the time you have a clogged/frozen drain. If this is a freezer on top model, you need to remove the back wall or floor and defrost the drain with warm water or hair drier ... I find that warm water and a turkey baster works best.. just keep shooting the water down the drain hole until it takes the water down on its own. If the problem returns sometimes you will need to install a drain heater or conductor kit. If this is a side by side model the repair is about the same ..just remove the freezer back wall and melt the ice and flush the drain.

We bought a Westinghouse fridge on Saturday we hooked up the water as per instructions the water flows to the conection on the fridge but nothing comes out of the water dispenser.

Is it brand new if so keep pressing the lever, I have had it take minutes before the water arrives. There is a long stretch of coiled tubbing inside that the water has to pass through.

Our Westinghouse refrigerator RP241T leaks out the bottom

The water that is produced during a refrigerator's defrost cycle drains into a catch basin behind the interior wall of the unit. The water then drains into a tube which carries the water underneath the refrigerator to a drain pan, where it is evaporated by heat from the coils and the compressor. You should be able to see this tube at the back of the refrigerator.

If any part of this drain system gets blocked, the water is diverted before it reaches the drain pan. It sounds like you have such a blockage. In some refrigerators, you can pull this tube loose at the point where it connects with the catch basin. Blow into the tube and see if it is open. If it is, the blockage is likely in the catch basin inside.
