That's fine, but there's no reason that should be a fatal error; some software you installed is messing things up.  Is the message titled as being from Windows Explorer, or anything?

How do I get my document back from Lexar 8GB JumpDrive TwistTurn - USB Flash Drive

Hi Sarah... We will need to know a few more specifics before any information can be given to you. What program where you in, and what type of document were you trying to save. If you were in Microsoft Word, you can go up to the "file" menu, and look for "recent items". At that point, you would be able to open the document that you were working on, and then save it to your location of choice. What you might find simpler in the future, is to simply save documents to your desktop, and then drag them to the flash drive directly from there. At that point, you will have the document both on your desktop and the flash drive, and you can then take the documents it is still on your desktop, and move it into your documents folder...

Format 4gb lexar jumptwist

The thumb drive you have came already formatted and ready to use. It will read as a DISK because it works the same as a CD or DVD disc. A formatted flash drive is set up at the factory and ready to be used by the new owner. Just copy what you want to move from the computer to the flash drive. When you want to remove data from the flash drive, simply DELETE doing the same as you would on your computer PC or Laptop.

Your Ceedo drive does not need to be connected when the steps below are carried out
  1. Click start ' run, type in regedit, and click OK
  2. When the registry editor opens, click on Edit ' Find, and type in menushowdelay and hit the Enter key on the keyboard
  3. When the first MenuShowDelay registry key is found, press enter to edit the key's value
  4. Change the value to 400 and hit Enter again
  5. Hit the F3 key to automatically search for the next MenuShowDelay registry key
  6. Change the value of the key to 400
  7. There are four MenuShowDelay registry keys. Each of these keys must have the value changed to 400
  8. When all four MenuShowDelay keys have been edited, close the registry editor and restart your PC
  9. When you reach the desktop again, connect your Ceedo drive and lauch Ceedo
The issue should now be resolved.

Can't get into my files

You could not have moved the my documents folder into a file. But you could have moved it into a folder. Use my computer to explore the hard drive for the my documents folder. It should be there somewhere on the drive. After you find it you may need to re-install the software on the hard drive. By placing the my documents folder on the drive you may have erased program files for the software.

Error message 0x80070052

I tried setting up a new folder and transfering the files, this did not work either so I just purchased a new Jump drive. I had plenty of space remaining on the Lexar, however, my time was worth more than the cost of a new drive. I'll keep looking for "free solutions" to my problem and if I find the answer, I'll respond.

You can simply drag the My Documents to the drive, that will make a copy. But you could also use the backup function of Windows (simply type 'backup ' in the Windows help and follow instructions).

Lexar flash drive

First, download and try to extract all the files from your drive with this tool:

http://www.lexar.com/drivers/files/ImageRescue_2.0-u(b16).zip

Second, at the moment that you are sure that you have all your files backed up, if windows recognizes the drive, try to right click on it and format
