I should have a look at the Goldstar website. It might come under LG by the way. Makers often put free PDF's of user manuals there.

Trying to figure out when this product was made. It is a VCR from Goldstar

Goldstar VCR's were pretty popular from 87-92. Check the bottom/back of the VCR it may have a year near the serial number

How to connect flat screen t.v to vcr

Easiest way is to connect the TV & VCR using a Scart connector. The VCR should automatically switch over when play is selected. To go over to the VCR channel then select AV1 on the TV input select. ( This may be named different depending what make of TV you have eg. AUX 1)

Can only get DVD audio when hooking it up to Goldstar VCR...

The DVD must be connected with the RCA jacks-plugs [usually black & red] to the INPUT of the VCR, not to the RF connector. You must press the VCR\TV button to VCR so that the VCR takes control. When you place a DVD movie or AUDIO program it could be copied to the VCR. or played through the VCR.

Vcr

Are you playing the movie on the DVD or the VCR?
Why is the DVD plugged into the outputs instead of the VCD inputs?
