When i turn it on a black screen pops up and i cant see the problem im putting it how do i take off the black screen

Try adjusting the screen contrast. To lighten the screen, turn the calculator on, press and release the 2nd key, then press and hold the down-arrow key. To darken the screen, use the up-arrow key instead of the down-arrow.

In my experience, i will press the power button(if my battery gets too low and the screen get black), then the laptop will get to the previous screen automatic As the set of my laptop is that, when I closed the lid, laptop will go to sleep but not turn off, and the laptop will woke up after I opened the lid. try and to see anything helpful?
