Problem for TV Receivers and DVRs
Generic problem for all TV Receivers and DVRs
Viewsat ultra 2000
Installer did factory reset. I installed factory bin from usb & then current update ftrm usb. I now have 7.7.7 on the display & the unit will not turn on. I have unplugged, let sit 3 hours & replugged but no change.

- I have one of my units without use for several months, when I tried to update to the latest fix, I was not able to do so., then I uploaded the factory bin and the current fix. After that all I get is a 7.7. 7. on the display of my VS Ultra.Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I also encountered the same problem. I did a factory reset and factory bin, I didn't get a chance to do a current update before the display changed to 7. 7.7
I did a main software upgrade by connecting two units together via serial port, it indicated that it was upgrading but the display returned to 7. 7.7 upon completion.
