New computer, same printer

I got a new computer and have downloaded the printer disc. Everything is connected as it should be but it won't print. . . . .help

Check if you have a printer icon in the printers and faxes folder and try the following patch.

My office jet G85 won't print. No error messages appear,it has a new color cartridge,it copies, but won't print from my computer.


If it copies ok, then the issue is either the way it is cabled to computer or the print driver software settings on pc.... How is it connected via USB? Check port and correct driver is in windows/control panel/printers. Reinstall.

"Communication Not Available" message is displayed


A quick fix for most communication errors can be achieved by resetting the printer and/or rebooting the PC. Simply disconnect the printer from your computer. Reboot your pc. Unplug and re-plug the printer into the power source to reset it. When the printer turns on, reconnect it to your computer. Then try to print again once the computer fully recognizes the USB connection.


If that doesn't help, try the steps below:

1. Disconnect the printer from your computer.

2. Unplug and re-plug the printer into the power source to reset it.

2. On your computer, go to Control Panel > Printers and Faxes.

3. Delete the Lexmark print object.

4. Reboot your pc.

5. When your pc turns on, reconnect the printer.

6. Wait until your pc fully recognizes the USB connection. To check, go to Control Panel > Printers and Faxes. If you see a new Lexmark print object in the list again, then try to print again.


You may also try to update your printer driver by visiting the Lexmark website at . Select your operating system, download and execute the file.


If the problem continues, please contact Lexmark Technical Support Center for additional assistance.

My cannon pixma MP150 just won,t print or do anything, it is connected to the computer alright & the computer says that it is connected but it just won,t print or scan, can you please suggest anything...


probably you need to download the driver for windows 7 in the canon website.(www.canon.com.sg) if this doesnt solve your problem check the led and display of your printer. if the led blinks alternately in orange and green it means that your printer needs to be brought to an authorized service center for resetting and diagnostic.

Don't have disc won;t print


You probably don't have drivers or software installed. You can download everything you need here:

go to that link, choose your operating system near the bottom of the page, and install the file downloaded. Hope this helped. =)

Printer won't connect to computer


In Order to delete the Doc stuck in Que............ Go to start click on Run if it is a Vista just type it in Start Search.......... Type Services.Msc and hit enter.......... On that list select Print Spooler right click on it and say stop................ Now click on Start again and type in Spool and hit enter............. Double click on the Printers folder there and select each and everything there land hit delete........ Now that should become empty close that window........... Right click on the Print Spooler and click on Start........... Now go to all Programmes go to Lexmark X***** Series Printer u have and click on Uninstall......... Restart the Computer.......... Download the drivers from the website and install the downloaded drivers it will work................ Thanks

Need to know how to install printer


Hi!

Please download drivers for printer first at driverguide.com or download.com without connecting the printer yet.

After installing drivers and/or software for printer, restart PC and then connect printer. Print test page to test functionality.
