How do I turn on cc without remote control?

Unfortunately, you can't reach the CC (Caption Vision) sub menu without a remote control. You need to find another RM-Y121 remote or a Universal remote that supports the Menu feature of the original remote. (Some universal remotes do not include a Menu button. Avoid those cheaper models. You may have to search all Sony TV codes to get the needed button to work.)

A replacement original remote is available from EMT Company at http://www.emtcompany.com/sony-rm-y121-remote-control/101317789.html . The remote costs ~$12. Amazon has a vendor with a used version of the remote.

I wish that I had better news for you.

Turning off cc without remote

If your set has a "Menu" button on its front panel, you can press it, surf thorugh, come towards closed caption option window, set the CC to OFF, if it is set ON now. If there is no Menu button on its front panel, you must ahve its remote control to turn this function OFF.

How do I remove the CC subtitles from the screen?

Without knowing any more about what TV you have, I can give some quick general tips. Somewhere in the menu on your tv there is a option for using CC and you can turn it off and on in the menu section. Look at your remote real good and see if it has a CC button on it, most remotes have this built into them to make it easier for the operator to turn his feature on and off.
