This error message means an electronic communications problem. Press pause/cancel twice to cancel the error and then disconnect the power cord from the outlet, wait few minutes, plug the power cord back in and select a new wash cycle.
If you see the same error again then you need to check the connections located between the drive motor and motor control unit.
FROM WHAT I CAN FIND OUT YOU HAVE A DRIVE MOTOR PROBLEM, IF YOU TYPE IN YOUR SEARCH BOX (WHIRLPOOL FAULT CODE F06) there are several several sites that tell you how to fix it
The cause of this is the motor control (MCU) not communicating with the control board. Try unplugging the unit for 30 seconds and if this does not solve the problem replace the MCU. This is located behind the panel under the door screwed to the floor of the unit near the motor.
