You can speed up your 93011 laptop by:

-- cleaning system junk
-- optimizing computer services
-- optimizing internet
-- repairing registry
-- defraging registry
-- clearing browsers junk

do these things with some secure tool such as Intel Software Partner Reginout.

It may pay you to save the download to your documents incase you have further problems
also when you get the laptop running exactly as you want it please go to the start button on bottom left of your laptop
Type in create a restore point
Then create a restore point naming it something like all good or as i like it
anything that you will then reconise as working good if and when you may need to restore you laptop back to that point

Hi, If the laptop is covered by Acer's warranty you could have it repaired under warranty,by Acer all that you would need to do is contact them.Incase the laptop warranty has expired please contact Acer to get details regarding the authorized service centers.If you are located in the US then you could bring the laptop over to the nearest Best Buy store since they have a technical team known as the Geek Squad who would be able to assist you with getting the touchpad fixed. Thats my laptop kid i swear down cuz my dont work either so u must of bin in my house get ya own laptop kid and help me fix mine or else the coffin will be used muahahaha

my wife has the same laptop and this fixed hers the problem began after we restored it to factory default.the problem is in the ide controller.go to device manager unistall the primary ide controller restart reinstall it restart again and all should be well also try uninstalling and reinstalling memory controllers,

accers are touchy(were talking about vista are'nt we?)try going to restore under control panel & setting it back to a previous date before you had the problem(sounds like you have a conflict with a recent program you installed)thanx for using fix-ya!!!
