Xerox workcentre pro 765 paper jam

Hi. There are paper jams in both trays all of a sudden. We have taken all the paper out and it continues. the paper seems to only come out about an inch past the rollers so when you open the doors the paper still right there. Ahhhhh. I have cleaned all of the rollers and still nothing. Any suggestions? Thanks!

On this model, the roller assembly may need to be replaced. The part comes with a complete set of rollers and a new clutch on the end of the shaft. This clutch is important to the operation of paper feeding.
The other area that can be a problem is a solenoid that actuates the clutch. If the solenoid does not operate you can have paper jams.
The supply voltage for the paper solenoid clutch is supplied by the mother board. If this is the case, a new mother board needs to be installed.
The paper trays have springs under the metal tray, sometimes stretching these springs just a small amount can help to increase the pressure to the paper feed rollers. In time, they can get weak and with a full tray of paper, the paper will not touch against the feed rolls.
If possible, sometimes using a light weight piece of sandpaper, scrub the rollers to break the hard rubber glaze. This can give better grip to the feed paper.
On this machine, there is a side door to on the right side. It opens to clear a jam. There is a black door inside that flops out. If this black door is not hinged, and you can hold it in you had in any side position or comes off and in your hands, this black door needs to be replaced. This door has rollers, which help drive the paper.
For safety reasons, a service call may need to be placed on this model machine.
This is a very good model, customers prefer this machine because of its uniqueness in preforming jobs different from even the newest models.
If you wish to keep this model and the manufacture continues to support the product, you can make a good investment on this model.
If you decide you wish to keep this machine, pay the price, and get the service work done properly by a trained service representative.
Above all, be safe and enjoy your product.
Good luck.

I have a paper jam on the right side of my Xerox WorkCentre xd100. I can't find my User's Guide, and don't know how to release the paper jam.

If the paper is in the fuser area, the fuser needs to be taken out.
I have heard and seen some customers take out the fuser. It has two wood screws to be removed and the plug on the side.
Extra care needs to be taken when doing this task.
Unplug the machine.
remove the two screws and unplug the fuser plug.
Gentley pull out the fuser and you can see the paper in the fuser.
There are small stripper fingers down there, be very careful when taking partial pieces out, be very patient, and extra careful.
This roller does not turn very easy if you need to rotate it.
Just tighten snugger than snug tight. Which means a loose tight. The mounting walls can break very easy.
If the problem jam is below by the tray, try to manage to push a card stock from below to get out the paper.
Let me know if this works.
Good luck.

My workcentre Pro 416 shows a jam, i have removed all jams that i could see. However it shows clear jam, and has 19 to dos on the screen, like open door, clean jam, close door, etc.. Is there a major reset...

On this 416 machine, there is one place you cannot see a jam.
Looking at the machine the right side doors need to be opened.
The lower trays feed paper and need to go up the by pass feeder area.
Just lower and behind the by-pass feeder the paper can get stuck, and you cannot see it.
If you try to push a card stock up from the bottom, the paper can be pushed out.
The other area is at the fuser. If the switch is worn it will not drop back into position. The tip of the switch wears and breaks off.
It is rare a sensor goes out on this machine, besides the fuser sensor. Each paper feed head needs to be checked to see if the paper sensors are bad.
Not seeing the machine, call Xerox for service repair if not resolved.

I have xerox workcentre xd105f, can't make copies, paper jamed and letter P on display

to remedy the P display error remove the paper tray and take any paper from under the tray and between the rollers, clean the rollers with alcohol or an acetone solution to remove paper dust and paper debris, refit the paper tray with the paper pushed below the tabs on the tray ensuring that the correct paper size is shown, IE: ltr ltr-r etc.
power the unit off and on and you should be back in business.

If this remedies the problem please rate the solution accordingly

I have xerox workcentre xd105f, can't make copies,paper jam

P will flash on the screen when the paper tray is empty, paper misfeeds or the paper tray door isn't closed all the way. Make sure both (if you have 2 paper trays) are loaded, that the paper isn't folder and wrinkled, and ensure that the tray doors are closed firmly. Then hit start on the workcentre to continue any unfinished jobs.

My best guess with the A4 is that the tray guide is not set correctly. Or the machine has been told that your tray has A4 in the tray.
If you resolve the A4 issue, you will most likely resolve the jamming problem since it is looking for a longer piece of paper.
Additionally, take a cloth with a soapy cleaner. Fantastic, some cleaner like that, take out the drum, and toner cartridges and clean all the rollers you can see throughly.
If that doesnt resolve the issue then you may also have some very worn out rollers. See if they feel slick .
