Possible that the files loaded are not the recommended type- those that are converted using the philips go gear converter. So connect your go-gear to the PC and remove off all the files. use a search for all types of files to detect the files on the memory device. Now remove and reinstall after converting,
Check for the drivers from the Philips site.

When i connect my player to pc it is showing donot disconnect. and when i open the folder in my pc nothing is seen. and when i click on properties, it is showing like this: used space 0 bytes free space...

When connecting the player to your PC via the USb cable the screen will light up and say "OK to disconnect".
This is normal.

Go to My Computer and you will see the Philips Removable Drive icon. Double-click on that and you should see various folders. Click on Music and add your MP3 files in tere.

To add videos to this player you need to use the software Philips provided. It's a bit complicated to use so follow the instructions carefully. The software will convert the videos to a Philips format to enable you to add them to the Video Folder. You can't just add a file as this will not work, it needs to be converted.
Hope this helps you.

Mp3

Ok. While this may not be a particular area of my expertise, I think there are a few things which could cause this problem on any MP3 player.
1. Is there enough space? - Does the space on the MP3 player, more than cover the size of the video? 2. Is the video in the right format? - Many MP3 players accept only certain types of Audio and Video. The GoGear supports these video types: AVI,MOV,MPEG,MPEG-2,MPEG-4,WMV For information on video conversion programs, visit this link: http://www.10001downloads.com/s/go-gear-video-converter.html  (This IS a reputable site. You need not be worried about viruses/spyware etc.

Hope this helps -Rob

TIME FOR VOICE RECORDER IN 512MB

Not very much. It depends on how many songs are already in the player. The problem is that the recordings are made in WAV format, and WAV format takes up MUCH more space than an mp3 file. If you had no other songs on the player, I would say an hour maximum - maybe much less.

Properties show that the device has 0% free space

I fixed this problem by going into My Computer, right clicking on the device, and clicking on Format. When prompted, press Start.
