Go to your router's local page, 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1, then go to the "Advanced" tab, then Virtual Server. Enter the private IP and the ports, and that should do it.

Let us know if that works.

Need a port opened to speed up downloads

Hi. It really depends on what type of modem or router you are using to open up ports. Also if you are using an application for downloading such as Bitcomet, you need to find out what port or listening port is currently configured on Bitcomet. for example, the listening port on Bitcomet is 4545, then you have to open port 4545 on your router or modem.

You also need to make sure that your modem or router has port forwarding features..

you may also visit this link for instructions on how to forward or open ports to different types of routers...

I want to diasble my router firewall and cant fiquere where its at

Disable router firewalls by logging in to the administration interface of your router and looking for a firewall section.

To log type http://192.168.0.1

The administration interfaces differ depending on the manufacturer and model, so your wireless router might not have a firewall section. If it does, click on that section and turn off the firewall.
Step2Forward a port. If the firewall is preventing an external computer from connecting to your internal client, you will need to forward a port to your client. Step3Find your internal IP address. Step4Click on "Start -> Run..." and enter "cmd" into the box. When the command-line pops up, enter "ipconfig" and hit "Enter." Find your IP address in the statistics that are printed out. Step5Refer to your software's documentation to find which port number must be forwarded. Step6Log in to your router's administration interface. Step7Click on "Port Forwarding" or an equivalently named section. The name of the section will differ depending on your router's manufacturer and model. Step8Add, on the correct port, a forward to your IP address. You will have to update this port forward in the future if your IP address changes. If your IP address changes often, ask your network administrator for a static IP address. This will fix your problem. Don't forget to rate my help! :-)
Thank you for using FIXYA!

I have a ZyXEL P-660HW-TI ADSL wireless router used as the gateway and wireless AP (also the wired ports are used for LAN). It has no VoIP ports. I do have a 2nd ADSL router (not used: no wireless, 1 LAN...

No because the VOIP need to be loged in first. if you have the voip first then the wireless router and you turned off the router dchp section part of the wireless modem then perhaps it will work, plus you need a voip account.

Hi...unable to connect to ps3 using siemans gigaset se587 wireless router

hi there,
first you need to make sure u can access your wireless router with no problems and the wireless is turned on for your ps-3...then u need to forward some ports...

Turn on PS3 and goto Settings, Network Settings.
Select Internet Connections. If it asks you want to be disconnected select Yes. Select EASY. Select wireless

Select SCAN this will take a few minutes. The PS3 should find your router and already have the SSID# so just type in your WEP key. Select save and then wait a couple of minutes then select test. It should hook up.

If it hooks up with NAT3 then you will have to enable UPnP on you router. type in http://192.168.1.1 on your computers web browser.

username: admin
password: admin

Click on the advanced tab and then on Universal plug n play and then make sure both check boxes are marked.

Then on the PS3 make sure the UPnP is enabled also in the network settings.

This should give you network and NAT2.

please try this link for port forwarding help:-
