Question about Microsoft Windows XP Professional With Servise Pack 2 (e8503040) for PC

Vista help it will not adcept my password

I have Vista and I can't log in anymore, I have not changed my password but it doesn't recognize, so not able to get into my computer. It has option to change password but when I click it it tells me that "No Drive" This feature requires removable media, floppy disk or USB flash drive

You can try a couple things. You could try booting into safe mode by pressing F8 and then try logging into administrator leaving the password field blank.

1. Click Start button and input lusrmgr.msc into the Search box.
2. In the coming Local Users and Groups screen, double-click Local Users and Groups, and then click Users.
3.Right-click the account that you need to reset the password for, and then click Set Password.
4. Type and confirm the new password.

Method 4: Change Windows password with Windows Password Unlocker

Windows Password Unlocker Standard allows you to change lost or forgotten password on Windows 7/Vista/XP.You can adopt this method to reset Windows password when you are locked out of computer without a password reset disk.
1. Download and install Windows Password Unlocker Standard in any accessible computer.
2. Run the program and insert a bootable CD/DVD or USB flash drive.
3. Burn an ISO image file to the CD/DVD or USB flash drive.
4. Set your locked computer to boot form CD/DVD or USB drive.
5. Change Windows password with the burned CD/DVD or USB drive

These are the simple methods can be applied to change Windows password on Windows 7/Vista/ XP. Of course, there are some other ways for your choice. Please remember your changed password. Problem with log in


It doesn\'t recognize device because u have opened email from a different phone or computer and that\'s how it doesn\'t recognize your account to recognize your account you\'d have to sign in on the device that you originally made your email.

I have a ZX4931-31e gateway all-in-one. i did a system restore back to factory settings. when it rebooted i was asked to log in and i don't know what the reset administrator password is? i tried...


Have you tried a blank password for the administrator. Just press enter when administrator pops up. If that does not work, try administrator. That should solve your problem.

Windows cannot recognize my password.


In case you have problem with your pass log in as administrator (the default pass is blank) and change your account's pass to a proper one. I can't understand what you mean by AR. Could you send me a print screen of your log in screen with the AR? (hit prt sc in log in screen > log in in any account > open Word or any image editor > paste the print screen from the clipboard) My e-mail is steliosl@yahoo.com.

Our office assitant just left and her password to get into windows vista doesn't work anymore. How can we get around this?


inside the case, on the motherboard is a password jumper. Remove the jumper, reboot the computer. That should erase all O/S passwords. The jumper should be labeled in tiny letters PWD or something similar.
