My set ic currently showing both blue and yellow color images within the picture on all channels. When I first discovered the problem, I immediately switched to another channel to see if it was just that channel or all channels. Of course it was all the channels. The step to troubleshoot the problem, I disconnect the set overnight, reconnected it in the morning only to see the same color images....still in all channels. At this point, I'm really not sure what to do, please if you can offer any suggestions or recommendations, I would so greatly appreciate it.

Re: Double color image (blue and Yellow)
Sounds like the TV's convergence circuit has failed: *Call an Authorized Service Center and them give you an estimate cost of the repair, or *Repair it your self; get KIT 10 locally or B&D Enterprises 1-800-458-6053; www.bdent.com. Good luck, big IRISH.
a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US. click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need. Goodluck!

Some newer TVs do not have the traditional "yellow" video input, known as an "AV" connection. Even without that input, you should be able to use the standard three-color Wii AV Cable that came with the system.
What to Do:
Look for "component" inputs on your TV. These connections have a row of five differently-colored inputs (green, blue, and red for video, white and red for audio). If you have more than one set of component inputs, it's the first set that generally works with standard AV cables. Look for a set that has a green input with yellow around it, or the word "video" just above or below it.
Plug the yellow end of the Wii A/V cable into this green "Y" input. Plug the white end into the audio "L" and the red into the audio "R." Leave the blue and second red holes open.
Turn on your Wii console and set your television to the input select being used.
If you are seeing the image from the Wii in black and white, try the following to get the image in color:
Cycle through your television's input channels (usually with the "Input Select" or "Source" button on your TV's remote control) to find the input select that has the image in color.
If you're only finding the image in black and white, you may need to switch the setting of the input select from a component signal to a standard AV signal. This can be done by:
An on screen menu option. This is often accessed by using the "Menu" button on the remote.
A button on the remote that switches between the standard and component signals. These can be labeled such things as "AV" or "Video."
Hi, This problem is of "CONVERGENCE". You have to replace the convergence IC's which is better to buy a new one TV, Just contact any expert and replace the convergence IC's and your TV work fine again you need not to buy a new TV. Thanks for using fixya.
you have lost the convergence IC`s in your set, this really isn`t a diy repair unless you are very proficient in un-soldering and re-soldering components, once replaced there will be an alignment procedure as well that will require the service manual also, if you have more questions feel free to ask away, video-tek
Double images and colors are blurry .Blue,red and yellow wave coming up from the bottom of the screen on the lower left and fuzzy images this is a symptom is for busted convergence IC,you must replaced this IC in order that will works better again.STK 392-xxx ICs and it's associated resistor,this resistor automatically change value,can caused truoble even though you change the ICs.If you bring this to a service center they cost you $600 to $700,but if you buy the repair kit you can save more,don't wory it is very easy because there is intallation guide including in the repair kit. Feel free to ask whatever the result... click the link for sample picture guide step by step installation;
