What is a 12v acc.

1.Wire name: ACC wire
Color: Red
Describtion of ACC wire:
When you insert key into ignition switch and turn it to the left you are turning on the ACC circuit. It will allow you to operate radio, windows and other accesories, but it does not turn on fuel pump and other engine controls. It saves battery power for when you need to operate vehicle components without engine being on.
The ACC wire offers power/electricity only when you insert car key into ignition switch and turn it to the left
The ACC wire needs to be connected to car igniton
2.Wire name: 12V battery(+)
Color: Yellow
Describtion of 12V battery(+) wire:
The 12V permanent battery wire will always offer power/electricity when the vehicle is turned on or off
The 12v permanent battery wire needs to be connected to car battery.

Which wires do I connect to get my sterio to turn on and off with my key

You need to connect your power wire to a switched item like the heater at the fuse box. most have an acc plug in in the box left for key op acc. but you can plug into anything that comes on only with the key.

Which wires do I use for the acc/battery on Dodge Dakota for Radio

One wire stays hot all the time (yellow) and acc is only hot when the key is on. you should be able to find the wires in the original wire harness to the old radio with a test light or a meter.

Where do you connect the memory wire on a jvc kd g110 car stero.....what color is the memory wire ?? what does hook red wire to acc fuse mean??? what wire does the red wire on the radio connect to on...

The yellow wire is most likely the memory wire as it needs to be connected to a constant 12 volt source.

"Hook red wire to to acc fuse" means you need to hook into the fuse block under an Accessory Fuse. (ie: something that can't be turned on unless the car is running or the key is in the "Accessory" position)

The red wire is explained above. It does not connect to the harness.

Just remember that the yellow wire needs to be hooked to a constant 12 volts and the red needs to be hooked to a circuit that is only active when the car is running or switched to the "ACC" position.

Which wire is the factory Acc-ING and which is B+ 2005 nissan Alt

Sounds like you're hooking up an aftermarket stereo. The B+ is for a battery constant-on connection. you can find one with a voltage probe tool (looks like a pointed screw driver with a grounding wire attached... and a light bulb in the hande. You can probe for a b+ connection by connecting the ground clip to a solid grounding point and probe for a wire that is "hot" while the key is off. For the acc wire, find a wire with the key on that is hot, but goes off when the key goes off. There are several posibilities and any will work, as long as your lines to the stereo have a fuse.. Happy probing. k

Red wire connects to Acc, yellow wire to constant +12volts , black to car body, ground. Do not connect the yellow thru the igniton switch (Acc). This will burn out your ignition switch.Connect diectly to Batt thru a fuse.

DehP6700 mp restet everytime keys is turned on.

first red is ignition or acc (turns off and on with the key) yellow is constant power (always hot keeps memory) orange is illumination (lights up radio) if vehicle doesnt have a seperate illumination wire connect it to the ignition wire. now process of elimination your ground is correct because it worked with all wires to acc your acc works because u had all them connected to it and it worked your problem is in your yellow or constant/memory i suggest u test it again take piece of wire any old thing long enough will do and run the wire directly from the battery under the hood and just run it outside the car through the window and connect it directly to the yellow wire make sure u have a good connection at the battery on the positive side if u have test light or volt meter test the wire before connecting it to the radio if it works then u know there is a problem with the wire from the vehicle (fuse wrong wire bad wire ) if it doesnt work make sure ground is connected tight and that paint is cleaned of the surface where ground connects and that the yellow wire to the radio is tight in the back of the radio.

Wiring

The B.reny connects up to an ALWAYS on power source in your car, like right to the battery or a terminal in your fuse panel that is always on even if the key is off, and the acc hooks up to a swiched power sourch, like where the original radio was connected, as the acc is called the memory wire. good Luck
