Hi there fellow android user. I've noticed the same thing on my HTC wildfire. It seems to overheat whenever I upload photos and use the web browser at the same time. This should be normal since it requires power to be able to perform different tasks at the same time. This usually occurs if you have the GPS, mobile internet or wifi activated and yes it will overheat even when playing games. I've noticed this too on the GALAXY 5 by Samsung which is also an android phone

Motorola Defy cannot be used on ear speaker only on loudspeaker

You see, it seems that some early batches of this phone are more prone to present this issue. It's a hardware problem. Some posts around the internet state that it might be caused by usage of the wired headset, but it could be nothing more than pure speculation. Anyway, Motorola is aware of this problem, and they seem to be either fixing faulty phones or replacing them by new ones. So, you must send yours to be repaired, under warranty. Please, contact either the store or seller you bought your phone from, or Motorola, directly, for further details

Well, a possible workaround for this issue is to consider using either the wired (original) headset or a bluetooth one for phone calls.

Really hope you are able to have your phone fully funcioning pretty soon. This phone is pretty amazing!

How do i unlock my phone motorola defy

Which COUNTRY,Network it locked now?
there are many ways to Unlock the Phone You can use Unlock Code to unlock it,Get the Unlock code at
Unlocking4u.com and Unlock it following the instructions below:

Motorola DEFY Unlocking Instructions Warning : Do not enter any wrong unlock codes on your Motorola DEFY mobile phones. If you enter over a certain amount of wrong unlock codes on your Motorola DEFY mobile phone, your phone may get hard locked and sometimes become unusable.
1 - Switch ON your Motorola DEFY with a NOT ACCEPTED SIM Card,
2 - Phone will display "Enter Special Code",
3 - You can now enter the Unlock Code.

NOT ACCEPTED: We mean, to use a sim card from a network other than the network your Motorola DEFY is locked to.

WARNING: If one of theses messages appear :

- "Contact Service Provider"
- "Tampert Alter"
- "Wait before enter special Code"
- "Contact Service'

It's because you or somebody already entered too many wrong codes, you just have to leave the Motorola DEFY ON with the errors message and after 40 minutes to 2 hours the message "Enter Code Special" will appear again!

I have just got a motorola defy which seems great except that the home key does absolutely nothing. It knows I've touched it as the haptic feedback comes on but nothing else happens.

I also have bought a Motorola Defy recently and had the same problem. I took it back to the store and since it is still under warranty, you can get a new one because that is a problem that isn't your fault.

How do you turn off music playing on motorola defy

Really sorry for such a big delay. Hadn't noticed your post before. You, most probably, had your problems solved long ago. Anyway, if the music application is currently active (i.e. in the foreground), press the play/pause button (at the bottom, center) in order to have the music paused. Then, press the back button as many times as required to take you where you were before. If music is being played while you are doing something else (i.e. in the background), slide your finger down the notifications bar (on the top). Your music application should appear among other notifications. Select it for it to become active, and then, from there, refer to the beginning of this post.
Hope it works for you.
Anyway, please, let me know if you need further informations.
Regards, Carlos
