So do you use Windows Media Plyaerto replay some videos? I afraid WMP can not support all of video format, and there is nothing wrong with your computer. You can download the code or download the Leawo Free AVI Converter to convert your video to avi and then replay in WMP.
is it showing when using media player? that is a codec problem, try to download a free codec for your WMP. or download VLC media player to use it instead of WMP.
Install "K-Lite Codec Pack 6.2.0 Full" or "K-Lite Mega Codec Pack 6.2.0" and if you wish to use Windows Media Player(WMP) you have to default WMP as your Media Player during installation.
Reinstall your windows player then you need to install the codecs to be able to read other formats here's one of the most complete packs of codecs. if you have doubts try this, install VLC player if the movies work on that player then your problem with the WMP will be the codecs. Make sure you install the full version.
