Question about Canon CanoScan LiDE 600F Flatbed Scanner
I just purchased my CanoScan LiDE 600F scanner and successfully installed it. I am a writer and mainly use a scanner to save time rekeying pieces/parts of my manuscrupt drafts and then edit from there. I can successfully scan a document into my computer but the document will not open in MS Word in a readable format. I have been working with the new scanner for two days trying everything in the tutorial, and still cannot open scanned documents in Word. I had no problem with my older Canon scanner doing this right out of the box. The new one is just not responding. Can you help me please?
Have you installed OmniPage? What OS are you using? Which scanner did you have previously? Are you able to OCR a document through OmniPage?
