Im trying to take apart my Samsung SCH-u740. The screen has water damaged and I have another one thats broke in half. So i was trying to figure out how to take one apart to switch screens. Please help. Thank you
To take off housing, you need to pry off plastic piece on end just above camera lens. Then you have to remove one philips screw. After that, you can pry case open. I use a tool that they sell to replace Ipod batteries.

My Buddy gave me a Samsung sch -u740 phone, but it just goes through the Power on Self Test then shuts does it again and again... He said it just started doing that one day. Never fell in water or anything like that. Thanks in advance for the help!
Well you know now that the warranty is void, so you should take the phone to a mobile service center and have them service it to try and have it working for you again......but most water/liuid damaged phones are like a 50/50 chance of working again.
