Boot to safe mode by tapping F8 key on the keyboard.
login as administrator
open Control Panel from the Start menu, and then double click User Accounts.
Click Change an account in the Pick a task list box. 2. Click the account that you want to change. 3. Select the item that you would like to change:Click Change the account type to change the account type to increase or decrease the user's rights on the computer.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

How to unlock windows xp password

The easiest way is to download a bootable program that bypasses the password such as "KonBoot" however to then change the password you will need to create a new user with admin rights and change the password that way, alternatively you can download another bootable program called "offline password reset" this is slightly more complex to use but it does the job

I cannot download any programs and it doesn't let me change any setting from control panel?

Hello!

In most case you have problem with viruses on you sistem.
You can try system restore, and anything else but the best solution is new system, with full format all hard drive.
In you case, you can also have a problem with standard file ( comp. ask you with program you need for open that files like doc., pdf, etc.)

I was downloading office 2003 and it said the program needed elevated, what does that mean? What do I need to do?

If you log on to a computer with an account that has administrator rights, you automatically install Office 2003 and Office 2003 MUI Packs with elevated privileges. However, this method requires that all users have administrator rights when they run Office Setup or that an administrator visits every computer.

it sounds like you are not an admin, but a user on the computer, so make sure you login as admin in order to get all those rights.

Unable to update or sychronize with time.windows.com

you need admin\administrator rights to change anything on vista. it is suppose to be more secured than Windows XP.
administrator /user is power user rights, which don't have rights to change system setting, but you do have rights to install certain program.
login into the machine as administrator and provide the corect password.

CD drive and USB problems

sounds like a antivirus /firewall/antispyware configuration issue where the porogram will not alow access to removable media in an attempt to prevent viruses from entering your system.check the options and settings within any program mentioned above installed on this system.

the other thing it could be is directly related to the message given, you as a user dont have rights to access, install, read, write removable media and as such you need to change the rights given under that particular user or log in as someone with admin rights, ask the admin to change it.

Limited User access will not open files in software program

boot into safe mode on xp. when you start the computer and the bios screen comes up start tapping the F8 key. it should take you to the boot selection screen. press your arrow keys to get to the selection "Windows Safe Mode" and press enter. when xp loads the login screen, there should be an admin account now. use that account to set users access to admin rights.
if you dont want that user to have admin rights but still start software that requires admin rights, try this. right-click on the program. go to run as... and choose administrator.

please let me know if this helped you :)

Technika digital camera driver issue

This isnt a motherboard problem actually.

The user you are useing to run the setup doesnt have admin rights.

Try makeing a new user and make sure it is set to computer administrator. If you cant do that then your user doesnt have admin rights.

If you can do that then go to the new user and try to run the setup on it.

Its possible your pc has a virus or something has removed administrator rights from your user.

how to check does my user have admin rights?
press start -> run -> type: cmd -> type: whoami
it will show something similiar to this:

C:\Users\Käyttäjä>whoami
lh-g503w30x9mwi\käyttäjä

(''computer name'' \ ''user'')

now type: net user käyttäjä
(remember to change the 'käyttäjä' with your own username)

C:\Users\Käyttäjä>net user käyttäjä
