Had someone from Best buy set up my new Sony bravia 47 in LCD TV. He said I should not use my slightly older Bose Cinemate digital home theater speaker system with the newer TV because the speaker system was analog and there would be a delay in sound. I have since learned that my "expert" installer was wrong on some other things. Was he right on this issue?

Hello, thats a first and he is completely wrong. The sound will arrive at the stereo at the same time it arrives at the cable box or the tv,depending on what source the stereo is hooked up to.Without going too in depth he is referring to center channel delay which is a feature in some home theaters created to induce a delay when its required, most notably when a projector is used.

I am having a Bose Cinamate Digital Home Theater. Original remote of this was lost and bought a new Bose Solo/cinemate system universal remote. It doesn't function with the interface. Will it real

If you can't get this to work, I suggest you try to return the remote and buy and harmony remote. For me it worked very well with everything including old audio amps and you can configure your own activities.

Bose home theater

It may not have bass and treble controls, since most newer TV's now have these adjustments. Play around with your TV and see if you can find bass and treble adjustments from the remote.

Bose cine mate speakers

No it won't be like surround sound, but you'll have the next best thing: a nice, powerful, natural Hi-Fi sound. I have a 46 inch 1080p Sony connected to a Sony Blu-Ray and Bose Cinemate Speakers. No complicated rear speakers wiring, no awkward center speaker to hide. The only drawback is that Bose doesn't have (yet) a code to operate the Blu-ray player with the Cinemate remote control.

Hope this helps to make your decision.
