the receiver was working at evening and next day it would not turn on. (no power). I checked on the rear switch and inside the reciever connection pins and the power seems to be going thru, but it won't turn on.

-   I upgraded Fortec Star Ultra to Pansat and it was working fine for 6 months, I uploaded Aug 21st file, it worked fine for one evening, next morning it was 'Powered off' and does not turn on. Any solution.-   ashraf24
It looks like you loaded a clone kill bin that was not compatible with your receiver.
It can still be fix by a process call jtag, You will need to have a wire that sells on ebay. This jtag cable connects to you printer port and to a IDC 20 pins connector inside your receiver and most of the time this receivers do not have the connector.

Changed from single to twin LNB on a Sky mini dish, can not get a signal. To try to solve the problem I've replaced both coaxial cables, replaced the twin LNB and returned the Humax FOXSAT-HDR to retailer to check it out. When I fit the satellite finder it shows 80%.
