Where is the freezer on top, side by side or the bottom.all a fridge does is blow cold air from the freezer to the fridge side that's it,if the fridge is warm there's a problem most likely in the freezer,a plugged drain or when you open the freezer door do you hear the fan blowing,if not you have a bad evap fan motor, also check your warranty it still might be covered.send the model number and i can help you,if you see water under the bottom draws or in the fridge section if the freezer is on top you have a blocked drain in the freezer.let me know what you find and i can help you

I have a hotpoint freezer fza34 The red high temp

it could be that your fridge, freezer setting is not turned up high enough to keep the freezer cold enough.turn it up to setting number 5 at least and if that dont do it u could have a faulty thermostat.have it checked by a engineer.

Model TBX18KMB. Liquids on top shelf often freeze. Also, need to cut electric bills, can Power Saver help?

Turn the refrigerator temp control down try factory setting, usually c on frige and 3 on freezer control. The cold air circulating from the freezer enters at the top of the frige therefor it is usually colder.

Frige freezing solid

If the evaporator coils behind the back panel of the freezer are icing up because of auto defrost failure that will stop the circulation of cold air and eventually affect the freezer too.

check defrost timer, defrost heater, defrost thermostat. In most newer models the timer has been replaced by an electronic control board. If the heater and thermostat are ok it’ll be the control.

Frige is cold, freezer is cold & freezing . . . Ice maker not making ICE.

Hi: As we don't (as in I) know the actual temp. in the freezer, this is a simple and free try. Cold is cold. The temp in the freezer has to be 0 degrees to make ice. They are thermally protected. A good guess for temp. is your ice cream. Is it rock hard? A lot of refrigerator thermometers are inaccurate. Just try setting your freezer colder. Ignore human nature and don't check the freezer every 30 Min's. You will never get to 0 degrees. I hope this helps, Jeff

Kenmore side by side - icemaker seems to run too fast because the ice cubes are often hollow and they stick together in large clumps. Everything else in the freezer is frozen solid, so I know the freezer...

IF FREEZER IS A THE CORRECT TEMP/ O-10 DEGREES, THE FREEZER IS NOT THE PROBLEM. THERE IS A THERMOSTAT IN YOUR ICE MAKER, IT IS NOT ADJUSTABLE. IT IS A SMALL BI METAL SWITCH THAT TRIGERS ICE MAKER WHEN IT REACHES ITS PROPER TEMP. THE PROBLEM IS, IT IS TRIGERING IT AT TO LOW OF A TEMP.NOT ALLOWING THE ICE TO FREEZE SOLID. IF YOU CAN HANDLE IT CHANGE BIMETAL SWITCH OR CHANGE ICE MAKER ITSELF.
